OUR FOUNDERS

Meet Oakley Rae.

Welcome to my world, a world where I find beauty in the smallest things and see life through a lens of creativity and imagination. I specialize in textiles, drawing, and watercolor, creating pieces that are as unique and diverse as the mediums themselves.

With a deep connection to the earth, my work often reflects the natural world, capturing its essence in vibrant colors and intricate details. My playful nature is evident in my work, with each piece telling a story of exploration and discovery.

I am driven by a passion for my craft, dedicating countless hours to perfecting each piece. My work is a testament to my commitment to my art, with each piece reflecting my journey as an artist.

Whether it’s a textile piece that tells a story, a drawing that captures a moment, or a watercolor painting that brings a scene to life, my work is sure to captivate and inspire. Each piece is a labor of love, crafted with care and attention to detail.

I invite you to explore my collection and find a piece that speaks to you. Whether you’re looking for a piece that adds a touch of beauty to your home, a unique gift for a loved one, or a work of art that resonates with you on a personal level, I believe you’ll find something special in my collection.

Each piece I create is not just a product, but a part of my journey as an artist. When you purchase a piece, you’re not just buying an object, but a piece of my heart, a fragment of my soul, a moment of my life.

I am always here to answer any questions you may have about my work. Please feel free to reach out to me. I look forward to sharing my art with you and hope it brings as much joy to you as it does to me.

Enjoy exploring!

Meet Jules McVey, PhD(c).

Hello and welcome! I'm an artist who thrives on innovation and exploration.

I started my career in Hollywood at 16, acting on hit TV shows such as Felicity, Roswell, Freaks & Greeks, 90210, and more. While acting, my artwork was commissioned for different History Channel and Discovery Channel shows. I did a few voiceovers as Sir Young Patrick Henry, learned sound editing from the crew that brought you Saving Private Ryan, and performed Improv at the L.A. Connection Comedy Theatre. Even worked at MPH Entertainment, Inc.

I experienced an NDE (Near Death Experience) a few months shy of 19 years old, and everything changed.

I changed career trajectories, not really knowing why, just the understanding that I was meant to help others. I became a firefighter, studied aerospace engineering, and pivoted again to neurology, psychology, and sleep medicine. I spent the next 20 years helping others heal their minds and bodies with science and art. I will always cherish the patients, veterans, and families I helped in healthcare.

In 2022, I was recruited for Meta for their Learning and Development. I took the opportunity thinking, wow, my life continues to grow. I was laid off 6 months later, like so many others. After a long walk, I decided, with my daughter at my side, to return to my first love - the arts.

It's been a brilliant and, at times, challenging life where I learned to overcome domestic violence, assaults, and death itself. I wake up grateful daily for the time I am given, and I use the time I have left to pay it forward and help others heal, laugh, and fall in love with themselves and this life all over again.

At the heart of my art is a story of emotions, experiences, and the human condition. My work is a visual narrative, expressing deep emotional experiences and inner thoughts. Each piece is a testament to my journey as an artist, reflecting my personal growth and evolution.

I am an adventurous spirit, finding inspiration in the world around me. Whether I’m painting en plein air or creating urban art, I'm constantly exploring new ideas and concepts. My art celebrates life, capturing the beauty and complexity of the world around me.

Every artwork I create is a product of passion, a piece of my essence, and a snapshot of my existence.

Thank you for visiting and supporting the arts!
