At a recent retreat, forty-two first responders entered the room quietly.
People sat with the coworkers they already knew. Conversations were limited. Energy was low. Within thirty minutes, the room looked completely different. People were laughing, creating, sharing stories, and learning things about teammates and leaders they had never known.
